Have you ever been on a spin chilling adventure? When your heart pounds every mili second? Lake Windermere is the best place ever: the King swing, throws you through the trees, you camp in a ten with a soft wooden floor plus you don’t have to put it up! A ten minute walk to Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. There is one negative thing about Lakeside: that it’s a long journey in the car if you live near London, but trust me it’s worth it. One of my favourite parts of Lakeside was the Kayaking, I have done it before so I had some experience, but at first I was a bit woberly, but after a while I was storming ahead of everyone. Then we played a game, you had to pick an animal, I was a shark and I just circled everyone! First meal of the day was dinner, I can’t remember what it was, but it was horrible, but the next day for breakfast it was the best thing ever: Bacon, eggs and sausage, or you can have your normal breakfast: cheerio’s’, cornflakes, rice crispies or coco pops. The runway was epic, I was the first one to do it. I lifted up my left leg on the ladder, and climbed, eventually I reached the top and looked down, there was an enormous drop. Suddenly George blew his whistle and pushed me off. I emerged down the zip line, I thought it was going to break. I feel like year six will be a hard but fun year. Lakeside has really changed, and I hope I will go back in year 9 and have twice as more fun. I thought lakeside would be a boring place with horrible food, but I tell you the food there is the best thing ever, the activities: Kayaking, raft building, King swing, Orienteering and lots more, the instructors (Ross, Al, George) are the best, I wish we could go there again!
