As the ladybird carefully walked across the feather: the soft strands felt like snow beneath her feet. Her shining scarlet back, which had to jet-black spots on it, made a big contrast to the pale blue of the water below the feather.
The sky was turning from indigo to violet. The strands of the feather where pink at the back. She peered into the water below; all she could see was herself staring back at her.

The Children That Never Came Back.
Lee and Annabelle were best of friends; they were never seen one without each other. Although they were best of friends, they are not alike Lee is cheeky, rude and lazy; on the other hand Annabelle was kind, helpful and hard working. They were in class 6, an ordinary every day class room, when Lee and Annabelle asked to go to the toilet. Really the only reason they went was to have a joke. As soon as they got to the toilets, a loud bang came from the boys. Lee suggested they check it out. Nothing. Only 3 unoccupied toilets. Bang! There it was again. But nothing had happened, nothing had fallen over, nothing had shaken. Shivers started creeping down their spines. Then suddenly CRASH…. they were standing in the forest with no idea how they got there and no control over there bodies. It was only then when they realised what had happened to them... ~~~~~~~~~~ Miss Arthurian’s face was as white as a sheet, her breathing rapid and a look of panic on her face. She was looking for the children; she had to find them or she would be sacked. Five minutes later, she spotted them but then Annabelle and Lee started to slowly, slowly move towards the cornered teacher. There was only one thing the teacher could do: jump over the barbed wire. She did. She was safe for now at least. She had to warn everyone she could. Sadly no one believed her. To this day Lee and Annabelle live in the forest chasing everyone who comes in... Caitlin
As I sat down on the bus I reflected back on the best week of my life -so far. I first saw mist rising over Lake Windermere, rolling hills stretching for miles and miles across the countryside. I loved every activity but the one that stood out for me was the raft building. The reason for this is I love water activities so much. At the beginning it looked complex but it really wasn’t. We started building it but by the time finished it we had only 30 min lefts to ride it. We started with a race-red won. Then some turning challenges my team won yay. I was happy when Jaden jumped of Ella fell of and Aden to. I was not happy wen Jaden pushed me off. I loved every second of it especially the frog that surprised me. |
