Bravely, the knight with his shiny armour gassed over the tall cliff top. The knight sat on his fearsome horse, waiting for its pray to appear on the ground. Suddenly he heard a loud Roar …. He looked around him, thinking to himself a roar that big must be a fearsome evil creature.
Just then, the knight went to go and get some help on the way he started shouting “help there’s some monsters by the cliff.” No one came. He went to the village to have a look, no-one was there. He went back to the cliff everyone was there fighting the evil monsters. The knight whipped his horse and off he went, down and tried to hurt the monsters. He pulled out his trusty old sword and chased the monsters away. All of the village people followed behind him. But just then, the monsters left immediately, and the village people went back home.

Chestnut class went on a trip to Lakeside, Cumbria for a school residential from the 18th of September until the 22nd. We arrived at school at 6:00am on Monday. We left at 6:45am. The journey was 7 hours to Lakeside. We all were all very tired, until suddenly we weren’t tired for long because we had sweets at 10:00am. It was just about an hour away and we were on hills. We saw gargantuan mountains.
When we arrived it was 2:00pm. We got off the bus and went into our tents and looked around. We saw a massive tent and mattress, we put all of our luggage on the damp floor. My favourite memories of Lakeside, were the runway and kayaking. In kayaking I liked getting wet. On the runway I liked it how when you get pushed you go down then you go back up again. After we came back from our group leaders we put are mattress down on our damp floor. Also a couple of nights ago from are trip we had a slug in are tent. The food was amazing, English breakfast every morning we were allowed a cup of tea with our breakfast. When we left Lakeside on the way back we had ……..? We had MacDonald’s, but we only got a happy meal was some juice. When we all arrived at school it was like 8:30pm on Friday night. At the start when we got to Lakeside we did a fell walk we walked all the way up a steep hill for an hour. |
