As she gracefully scuttled across the beautiful, frosted feather, the lady-bug tentatively spread her scarlet, spotted wings: ready to take flight. The cold air skimmed her delicate antenna. She shivered. Was this a bad idea? The tip of the feather gently tickled the cold surface of the water making soft ripples in the water that shone in the moon-shine.
The icy colours contrasted against the vermilion tone of the lady-bug’s soft shell. Each half had a single identical ebony spot which stood out from the bright coloured background. What a beautiful sight to see! The water shimmered in the dim moon light. As the sun broke out of its cage of clouds the lady-bug went back into hiding and pondered what adventures she would have tomorrow.

Silver mist hovering over the turquoise lake, Lake Windermere shining and shimmering with joy as the sun shines through the snow white clouds. This magnificent site is isolated amongst the giant trees that wave to you in the autumn breeze and the high hills that look down on you as long as the site doesn’t go away-I had the most spectacular week of my life.
Although I enjoyed all the activities there was one which was a highlight of my week and one that I will never ever forget. The high-flying activity that stood out for me was the Ariel runway, because it was; a gargantuan zip line that went over the isolated forest path, finally it had come to an end. Today was the day that I would get wet and I was really excited. I must say that I was really nervous that I would capsize and a tiny bit scared I would drift away and they wouldn’t be able to get me. Instead of drifting away I focused on my paddling, but it would never be as good as the Ariel runway. Kayaking was a great experience and something I would recommend doing again. Before we got on the giant canoe we had to put buoyance aids on and then it began… As I cautiously stepped on to the giant canoe that could fit over 10 people on. As we got closer to the other group we had a race to the other island, but the other group won finally with a crash we hit the stones Ross the leader started to cook the pastor and rice whilst we all played see what we could find , me , Olivia , Florrie and fleur found a box and in this box was a packet of tissues and a note that said something about the tissue . Finally we were called group by group to come and get are rice or pastor but me fleur and Florrie got our ‘ s first because we helped cook it |
