With a frantic flutter of her frail blood-red wings with two ebony-black spots on she hovered a centimeter away from the ground. She gazed at the velvet back round surrounding her. As she landed with a gentle wobble. She shuffled tentatively across the snow white feather from a turtle dove’s wing. Carefully, she walked along the delicate feather. As she walked the path narrowed into several different pathways.

The Children That Never Came Back.
Lee and Annabelle were best of friends; they were never seen one without each other. Although they were best of friends, they are not alike Lee is cheeky, rude and lazy; on the other hand Annabelle was kind, helpful and hard working. They were in class 6, an ordinary every day class room, when Lee and Annabelle asked to go to the toilet. Really the only reason they went was to have a joke. As soon as they got to the toilets, a loud bang came from the boys. Lee suggested they check it out. Nothing. Only 3 unoccupied toilets. Bang! There it was again. But nothing had happened, nothing had fallen over, nothing had shaken. Shivers started creeping down their spines. Then suddenly CRASH…. they were standing in the forest with no idea how they got there and no control over there bodies. It was only then when they realised what had happened to them... ~~~~~~~~~~ Miss Arthurian’s face was as white as a sheet, her breathing rapid and a look of panic on her face. She was looking for the children; she had to find them or she would be sacked. Five minutes later, she spotted them but then Annabelle and Lee started to slowly, slowly move towards the cornered teacher. There was only one thing the teacher could do: jump over the barbed wire. She did. She was safe for now at least. She had to warn everyone she could. Sadly no one believed her. To this day Lee and Annabelle live in the forest chasing everyone who comes in... Caitlin When I arrived at school, I hooked my bike up, then I looked around me but I couldn’t see any of my friends. So I walked to the play- ground and my friends still weren’t there. And so I thought ok I must be early. Then I looked on my watch and it said the time was 8:50. So I rushed into my class, but the door was locked. So then I looked in the class window but there was nothing; nothing but some tables and chairs. Then I felt abandoned inside. And just then a teacher called me into the year 4 and 5 cloakroom. Cherry class When I was in Cherry class, Mrs Harrison gave me a job straight away doing a bucket job - the bucket job is filling up a black bucket with water in a water dispenser for the little kids to play with to put in a water table with toys in it. And when I was done I was drenched! After that she called me in and asked me to write out some stickers, saying (for example) Alfie p – the p means packed because cherry class had their first lunch in the hall. Assembly When I went to assembly, Mrs Kelly asked me to do the music. And so I thought, but I don’t know how to do it. Then Mrs Kelly showed me and that’s how I know how to do it. |
