As the coach started I knew this would be where the fun started even though we had a six hour journey ahead, eventually the land scape started to change, we were there, and everyone loudly cheered “We’re there!” That was where it all started. We saw our 3 instructors, Allister, Ross and George.
Then we all excitedly stormed off the coach finding our instruction to be greeted, my instructor was Allister. (He’s my favourite) The teachers told us we had 15 minutes to put our bags away and sort out all of our stuff. To everyone’s surprise we didn’t have to put our tents up, although my tent had mattresses in our tent, my tent was tent 3, the people in it were me, Oscar, Jayden, Toby, and Gabriel. The next thing we knew teachers were telling us that it’s time to do our first activity, it was the local fell it was about a 2 mile walk up the fell although some people didn’t like it, when we reached the top the views was probably worth the walk. The king swing The kingswing was my favourite one, because at first when you started to be lifted by the rest of your team, the most nervous bit is when you are thinking about having to pull the leaver to release yourself, WOOSH I suddenly swung along with the rope, even though sometimes when you’re afraid you just have to do it anyway because. In the end it turns out to be really fun well at least some times.
