Niamh, Holly and Max went to Quiddinham on Tuesday the 24th of January 2017 to see the Duchess of Cambridge arrive at the EACH hospice. When the Duchess arrived around 11:20 in a black jaguar with dark green range rovers in front and behind her. In the green Range rovers there were secret service to stop people hurting her and crashing into her. Also, there were secret service at the hospice to make sure there were no suspicious behaviour and made sure no one would hurt the duchess. She walked down the row of schools while loads of people were frantically waving their flags and greeted everybody and asked questions then shed talked to individual people but we weren’t quite sure what she was talking about it.
After, she had gone inside we replaced our flags with ones that had not been ripped and got fresh, new ones to bring home. So, we got onto the mini bus or Miss Yates car, and road a bumpy journey back to East Harling. At 11:55 am to tell our friends the amazing journey we had.

It was a Monday in October in 2016 and we had a cross country competition. We were on the way to the recreation ground in East Harling, we were walking our way there and the vibrant bushes caught my eye, it was an average English day (showers, overcast) but it was autumn therefore the leaves on the floor were vibrant and they made a cascade of colour. We were with some juniors there were a few people from each class and me and both Liam’s were also chatting.
We got there had a bit of a warm up but our race was last (year 6 boys) so I had quite a wait. I and Liam J mostly chatted but also we supported the other children in younger classes. The suspense was building the time was crawling closer and closer to our race it was getting cold and it started to rain, it was year five girls and we watched cheered as they ran in the slippery rain. Mud sprayed out behind their feet.it was now year six girls, I started to warm up but I nervously stood next to my friends as we strolled to the start line. We stood there and as soon as we knew the whistle blew to the start our long journey. We had to run three and a half laps. I was rapidly running my way round the field Liam J was ahead of me. Ouch I had twisted my foot and started to get a stich but soon enough Liam also dropped back with me I think he was running low on energy but I wasn’t sure at this moment because we couldn’t speak! It was the final lap and it was me Liam and Jake were fighting for the lead between us three (we weren’t actually that near the front) round the last two corners. Neck and neck for twenty first twenty second and twenty third it was the last strait of our final cross country race and we were about one hundred meters left! And then I ran across the line in… twenty first I beat Liam and Jake across the line. I had made it back to the rest of our pack, and they cheered as we ran back. I had my snack and a drink but I drunk it all in one massive slurp! We all started to walk gently back to school, looking back at the vibrant, cascade of leaves but we didn’t talk that much on the way back because we were just too tired. by Max Never Seen Again from MrsWills on Vimeo.
