On Friday 4th November at 2 O’clock in the afternoon all of our class was walking towards the back of our school, the nest that we and the rest of the school made when we were in year 4, to do some activities with Mrs Kelly, Mrs Wills.
We were split into 2 group’s one group with Mrs Kelly and the other with Mrs Wills, I was in the group with Mrs Wills we were making a fire pit. First we had to find materials to disguise it, so that people in the public couldn’t see it and go there and mess up all of our work. I found some ferns to cover it up. Then we had to mark out a space to dig the fire pit. Jake and George got a fork to pull up all of the grass were the fire pit was going to be, I had to pull up some grass of fork that the two boys had dug up with the fork. Then it was my turn to use the fork! I dug with all of my heart’s content I made a little sausage shape of dirt. Then all of the fun on that had gone but more fun was to come. After we had finished digging we had to shake of all off the dirt so that the dirt could go on the garden. Then I had to walk over the edge of the dirt to show the barrier then we dug some more of the dirt and we shacked of the dirt from the grass. It was finally time to cover up the fire pit with all of our materials on it. The other group came back from what they were doing and Mrs Kelly and all of us walked back. by Jorja
