It was a cold, frosty morning. We were heading out of the school. We started walking down the street, as soon as I could think about cross country we were there.
I had butterflies in my tummy, I was scared I was going to lose. After lots of long hard racing, it was finally my go. I lined up at the starting line… The whistle blew. I started running and I managed to keep up with all the front people after a little while I dropped back. It was hard to run because I had a really bad stitch. I was on my last lap and I was proud of myself. I ran past the finish line and I was so warn out. I walked to the end and collected my ticket. I came 14th place. I had to sit down because my legs ached. I had to sit down. I got a drink because my mouth was as dry as paper. It was hard to walk back to school because my legs were dead. We got back to school, I sat down on my chair and dozed off in my own world. In our class two people got medals Jorja got one for persevering and Ella got one for coming 1st place. The next day our school knew the scores we came 3rd place. Liam J Never Seen Again from MrsWills on Vimeo. Jeff Studios from MrsWills on Vimeo. Hannah Hannah from MrsWills on Vimeo.
